Her story

Clinical Nutrition First. Movement Alongside It.

Chrissy’s graduate work is in nutrition, and clinical nutrition has been her primary work: at Canyon Ranch, in local medical practices, and across integrative health. For around twenty-five years, fitness ran alongside it, as a trainer and an instructor.

She trained in the STOTT PILATES® method through Merrithew and teaches on two Balanced Body reformers in a small studio she has run on her own at 90 Pittsfield Road for about two years. She also teaches a mat class and personal training inside Lenox Fit.

Today the work is Pilates, personal training and nutrition in roughly equal measure, and a community of clients who move between all three. She has supported thousands of clients as they found their own success in their personal wellness journeys.

In her words

“I am an advocate for all women and men to find true strength, empowerment and true joy in their bodies. Welcome to our happy place. I am here to help you find your strength through movement and community, with a healthy mindset and a focused direction.”

Our mission

To empower individuals to achieve optimal wellness through coaching and personalised, evidence-based education.

My goal is to make health accessible and simple, combining the latest science with an understanding of the body’s interconnected systems to support vitality. When root causes are addressed that foster balance, sustainable solutions that nourish the body, mind and spirit can be achieved.

I promise to provide personalised attention and set realistic expectations for every client I work with. Our environment is one where clients feel safe, supported and celebrated, no matter their background or fitness level. From the moment someone walks through the door, I want them to feel seen and encouraged. It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress and honouring each person’s unique journey.

The method

Movement with a Reason Behind Every Cue

The practice

What Is Pilates?

A mindful movement method created by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. Originally known as Contrology, it was built to help patients recover from injuries and gain strength, using hospital bed springs as resistance. That is where the Pilates Reformer came from.

The Reformer gives a full-body, low-impact workout focused on alignment, core strength, posture and mobility. It suits an elite athlete, a first-timer and someone recovering from injury alike.

The method she teaches

What Is STOTT PILATES®?

A globally recognised, science-based evolution of Joseph Pilates’ original work, built on modern exercise principles, contemporary spinal rehabilitation research, fascial integration, muscle conditioning and athletic performance.

Chrissy trained in the method through Merrithew, its home in Toronto, and teaches it on two Balanced Body reformers with small props, in private and duet sessions built around your goals.

What we believe

Six Things This Studio Runs On

Move Better.

Alignment before effort. The work is built around how your body moves today.

Feel Stronger.

Strength that shows up outside the studio, in the things you already do every day.

Live Fully.

Movement, nutrition and mindset together, because they were never separate.

You Are Safe Here.

Sessions are private or a duet. Nothing is done to a room, everything is done with you.

You Are Welcome Here.

No experience needed. Many clients start having never set foot on a reformer.

Every Body Is a Good Body.

Progress over perfection, whatever your background, age or fitness level.

How a session is built

Programming Starts with Your Body, Not a Plan

Every session is shaped around what your body can do today, which is why the studio only offers private and duet work. If a cue doesn’t land, there are five more. If something flares, the session changes.

That same approach carries into the strength and nutrition work. Strength, mobility and endurance sit alongside nutrition education, mental well-being and recovery, because none of them work in isolation.
